Clinical Supervision for registered interns working toward Florida Licensure
Family Enrichment Services offers clinical supervision for registered interns seeking licensure in the state of Florida!
In person and/or virtual supervision available
The state of Florida requires at least 100 hours of clinical supervision for at least two years along with 1,500 hours of clinical experience in order to obtain licensure. All of our Qualified Supervisors (LCSW, LMHC, and LMFT) not only have many years of experience working with children and families—they also have years of experience guiding and supporting new clinicians to meet their clinical and career goals as they pursue licensure.
Individual supervision (no more than two supervisees): $100 per supervision hour.
Group supervision (up to six supervisees, but not more than 50% of clinical supervision hours): $50 per supervision hour.

Deb Bassinger is a LCSW with eighteen years of experience working with vulnerable children and families. She has been a Qualified Supervisor since 2019 and enjoys helping clinicians build clinical skills as they work toward licensure. Deb has experience working with families impacted by trauma, including sexual abuse, emotional and physical abuse, separation from parents and siblings, exposure to substance abuse and domestic violence. She is a trainer for Adoption Competency Training and has taught Love and Logic Parenting groups. Deb’s approach is family-focused, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed.
Karin Neville, LMHC is a clinical supervisor with thirty years of experience training and supervising Mental Health Counselors. Her area of expertise is in the areas of trauma associated with child welfare, adoptions and complex multi-generational trauma. She previously maintained a successful private practice working with children and families on a variety of issues but returned to community mental health as this is her true passion. She has advanced training and provides supervision in Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing and Child Parent Psychotherapy. She has been a trainer and speaker at local and national conferences in the areas of Solution Focused therapy and Infant Mental Health. She is also an adoption competency trainer. Mandy McClellan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 18 years of clinical experience including training and supervising social workers. Mandy’s areas of clinical focus have included infant/early childhood mental health, trauma, attachment and adoption competent interventions. Throughout her career, Mandy has conducted diagnostic assessments, provided treatment interventions directly to children and families, supervised interns and staff, and provided clinical trainings and workshops. Mandy is trained in evidenced based interventions such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parent Child Interaction Therapy.
Ruthie Doles, LCSW is in phase 2 of her work life. She retired from Pinellas County Government in 2017, where she worked as the manager of the county’s 911 Center for over 32 years. Ruthie’s work as a manager inspired her to pursue becoming a therapist. She began clinical work in 2018 and was approved as a qualified social work supervisor in 2024. Ruthie is certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and has completed training in the Gottman Method, FASCETS neurobehavioral model, and Emotional Freedom Technique. Ruthie’s primary practice approach is relational, and she uses interventions that can help clients understand the link between their thoughts, feelings and actions and the impact on their relationships. She believes that building great relationships is one of the most meaningful aspects of life. She supports supervisees to enhance their ability to connect with clients in ways that foster the therapeutic relationship.
Stacy Thompson, LMHC and LMFT is a seasoned marriage and family therapist with 13 years
of experience working with individuals, couples and families with a variety of needs. She is
knowledgeable in lifespan development, couple and family dynamics, cognitive-behavioral
techniques and suicide prevention. She has strengths in adoption competent and attachment-
focused therapy techniques and ability to work with other providers with the foster-care
community. She is compassionate, supportive and friendly when working with supervisees to
realize their potential.
