Psychiatric

Psychiatric services are available for families who do not have active child welfare involvement. Psychiatric evaluations are completed to assess the need for medications for emotional or behavioral difficulties. If psychotropic medication is deemed appropriate, ongoing medication appointments will be scheduled to monitor the effectiveness of the prescribed medication(s). These services are provided by a Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
